An expert team of visual merchandisers from Marks and Spencer in Sprucefield have given Pink Elephant Cards, our charity wedding stationery business, a glamorous make-over in just one day.

Pink Elephant Cards has been creating bespoke wedding stationery for brides and grooms across Northern Ireland for the last 13 years.  The business provides training and a realistic work environment for people with learning difficulties and learning disabilities.

We requested support to get a make-over of our Pink Elephant Cards studio to be completed by the Marks and Spencer team of experts to enhance our customer experience.  Marks and Spencer were delighted to respond to our request and designated their visual merchandising team to transform the customer consultation area as part of their ‘Spark Something Good in the Community’ initiative.

Our Marketing Manager, Ciara Brennan, says “We are overwhelmed by the support and commitment from the Marks and Spencer team.  We really wanted to refurbish our studio to enhance our customer experience and could not have achieved this to such specification without the creativity and skill of the Marks and Spencer team.  Our trainees are delighted with the new look studio and feel very proud to be part of such a glamorous business”.

Marks and Spencer Visual Merchandise Section Manager, Sarah Gourley, comments “This was a very exciting project for our staff to work on.  When we saw how amazing the wedding stationery is and that 100% of profits are reinvested to support people with a learning difficulty/disability we wanted to give the studio as glamourous a make-over as possible.  We hope that customers will be pleased with the result”.

Customers can book a private consultation at the new look studio by contacting Pink Elephant Cards on 028 9266 7124 or pinkelephant@stepping-stones.org.uk . Designs are all bespoke with a team of creatives advising on design to suit every budget.  All cards are carefully handmade by Stepping Stones NI trainees who take pride and precision in each customer order.
