We are immensely heartbroken and shocked at the passing of our trainee Paul who will be laid to rest on Thursday 30 June 2022.

Paul has been part of the Stepping Stones NI family for the last two years bringing such energy and enthusiasm to everything that he did.  Always up for the challenge and eager to learn, Paul was the friendly face in the Courtyard Café, greeting every customer with a warm and friendly smile. The place just isn’t the same without him.

Paul made learning fun, bringing the ‘craic’ to the NVQ class and making his classmates and tutors smile.  Such a character and full of warmth, Paul brought tremendous joy and laughter to weekly football training scoring some great goals.  He made a huge contribution to our team that went to the George Best Disability Cup last week and we will forever treasure that time.

Always wanting to do more, Paul took on a work placement at Barrel and Bean in Dromore and we know that he made such a huge contribution to the team there.

Paul made such a big impact on everyone who came across him.  A credit to his family, full of positivity, fun and manners, we will miss him greatly.

Forever in our hearts.
