I feel most comfortable when things are calm and organised, and when I know what’s expected of me. When routines are clear, I can focus and do my best.

Since coming to Stepping Stones NI, I’ve grown in confidence and learned skills that help me succeed at work. I now work in the Courtyard Café, where I take orders, serve customers, work on the till, and help prepare vegetables in the kitchen.

I’ve also achieved several qualifications, including NVQ Level 1 in Hospitality Services, NVQ Level 2 in Kitchen Services, and NVQ Level 2 in Food and Beverage Service.

Being supported in the right way has helped me feel proud of my work, confident in myself, and more independent every day.
