I’m autistic and I work in paid employment with Translink, where I take pride in my job and my independence. I live independently too, with support that helps me keep building my skills.

Each week, I also attend Pink Elephant Wedding Stationery, where I’ve made friends and feel part of a community. I’m caring and friendly, and while I can feel nervous around new people sometimes, Stepping Stones NI has helped me grow socially and feel more confident.

I’ve completed Good Customer Care training, which has helped me at work and in everyday life.

Through encouragement and support, I’ve built confidence, friendships, and independence, and I’m really proud of how far I’ve come.
