When I first joined Stepping Stones NI, I wanted a place where I could build confidence and feel included.

Now, I attend Navigation House every week and volunteer with Restore, where I really enjoy helping customers, chatting with people, and carrying items to cars. It makes me feel useful and valued.

I’ve completed NVQ Level 1 and Level 2 in Kitchen Services and previously worked at the Beechlawn Hotel on a kitchen placement. I’ve also completed Food Safety Level 2 and Principles of Customer Service training.

With Stepping Stones NI’s support, I’ve grown in confidence, independence, and pride in myself.
