Welcome to The Gatelodge Cafe

At The Gatelodge Cafe in Newtownards, we serve more than just delicious food and drinks. We offer a place where people with learning disabilities can gain real-life catering and hospitality experience.

Under the guidance of our skilled team, trainees develop practical skills in the kitchen and on the cafe floor, from making coffees to preparing and serving food, while also taking part in weekly training sessions that focus on personal and social development.

Located at the entrance to Ards Community Hospital, our cafe has been a favourite with staff, visitors, and the local community since 2016. Parking is available on site and we are open Monday to Friday.
