When I joined Stepping Stones NI at 19, I didn’t know what to expect. Now, it feels like home.

At The Gatelodge Café, I take orders, help set up, and keep the café clean and welcoming. I’ve also achieved qualifications in Food Safety, Food Hygiene, and Customer Service.

Over the years, I’ve grown in confidence, independence, and made friendships that mean everything to me.

What I love most is the people. We’re all like a family, and Stepping Stones NI has helped me believe in myself.
