I joined Stepping Stones NI in 2018, and since then I’ve grown in confidence and independence.

At The Gatelodge Café, I greet customers, take orders, serve teas and coffees, and keep the café clean. I’ve also completed several OCN qualifications and made lots of friends.

Outside of work, I live independently, love football, and compete in Special Olympics events like swimming, long jump, and javelin.

Having Down Syndrome makes me kind, genuine, and trustworthy, and Stepping Stones NI has helped me show what I can achieve.
