Stepping Stones NI is proud to be delivering the Disability Employment Programme as part of the latest series of free training and employability initiatives launched by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council’s Labour Market Partnership, funded by the Department for Communities.

The programme offers practical support and guidance to help people with disabilities build confidence, develop skills, and access meaningful employment. It also supports those already in work to upskill, progress their careers, and explore new opportunities.

Speaking about the launch, Lord Mayor of Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, Alderman Stephen Moutray, said:

“These programmes are about empowering people right across our borough — giving them the tools, skills and confidence they need to take that next step in life or work. By investing in local talent and breaking down barriers to employment, we’re building stronger communities and creating real opportunities for people to thrive.”

Stepping Stones NI continues to work alongside local partners to provide support, helping individuals overcome barriers and reach their potential through employment and skills development.
